About the Author
Dr. Krutz is Chief Scientist for Security Risk Solutions, Inc. He has over thirtyyears of experience in industrial automation and control systems, distributedcomputing systems, computer architectures, information assurance methodol-ogies, and information security training. He has been a Senior InformationSecurity Consultant at Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, and REALTECH Sys-tems Corporation, an Associate Director of the Carnegie Mellon ResearchInstitute (CMRI), and a professor in the Carnegie Mellon University Depart-ment of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He was also a lead instructor for(ISC)2 Inc. in its Certified Information Systems Security Professionals (CISSP)training seminars. Dr. Krutz founded the CMRI Cybersecurity Center and wasfounder and Director of the CMRI Computer, Automation and Robotics Group.
